On June 2, Zenergy Inc. said it formed a partnership with New York-based Apollo Global Management LLC (NYSE: APO) to invest in acquired, domestic oil and natural gas properties.
The partnership became effective May 1, the company said.
The partnership, called Zenergy LLC, had $700 million in commitments from funds managed by affiliates of Apollo, and $55 million from Zenergy and its affiliates, Zenergy said. The partnership will focus on properties in the Midcontinent, Texas, and Ark-La-Tex regions, the company added.
Jefferies Inc. was Zenergy’s financial advisor.
Tulsa, Okla.-based Zenergy focuses on the domestic upstream business sector.
