Drilling Activity Details
Drilling Activity Summary
Description
A Wilcox gas well by Houston-based Square Mile Energy LLC has reopened Paul Field in Colorado County (RRC Dist. 3), Texas. The #1 Martin initially flowed 2.286 MMcf of gas, 194 bbl of condensate and 6 bbl of water per day. Production is from fracture-treated perforations in Midway (Wilcox) at 12,215-25 ft. The directional well was drilled to 12,600 ft with a true vertical depth of 12,493 ft and is on a 438.5-acre lease in James Cummins Survey, A-12. Gauged on a 7/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 6,740 psi. Square Mile’s new producer is more than 1 mile southeast of numerous wells in Columbus Field along the Upper Texas Coast.
