Purchased Sylvan Lake property in AB, gaining 100,000 cf/d, 205 MMcf 2P.

Hemisphere Energy Corp., Vancouver, (Toronto Venture: HME) has acquired the Sylvan Lake property in central Alberta from an undisclosed seller for C$325,000. The Sylvan Lake property consists of multi-well natural gas production from numerous channel sands of the Edmonton Group. Production is approximately 100,000 cubic feet per day. Proved and probable reserves approximately 205 million cubic feet as of year-end 2008. Hemisphere estimates it paid C$19,940 per flowing barrel and C$9.51 per proved plus probable barrel equivalent.
