Auckland, New Zealand-based Genesis Energy has acquired a 15.1% interest in PEP 38738-D and PMP 38156-D, known as the Cardiff assets, offshore New Zealand from Tag Oil Ltd., Vancouver, (Toronto Venture: TAO; OTCBB: TAOIF) for an undisclosed combination of cash and a 1% royalty on any future production from both permits.
