On Dec. 9, Credit Suisse said Tim Perry was appointed as global co-head of oil and gas investment banking within the banking and capital markets division.
His appointment becomes effective in January. Perry will partner with Osmar Abib, who has led the group since 2011.
Previously, Perry was co-head of the oil and gas group in the Americas region, having joined Credit Suisse in 1999. He has led the bank’s E&P franchise, where the bank achieved a No. 1 position in 2015.
Perry has worked for 25 years in investment banking, and will continue to be based in Houston.
Since January 2015, Credit Suisse has participated in 45 E&P follow-on offerings, 38 of them in a lead-left capacity.
