Specialized equipment provider Stewart & Stevenson LLC appointed Jack L. Pieper as its CFO, the company said Sept. 19. Pieper is currently the chief accounting officer.
As CFO, he will be a member of the Office of the Chairman and will help senior management handle fiscal discipline, financial planning, cost containment, corporate development, treasury and banking and other duties.
Pieper is a second-generation employee of Stewart & Stevenson. Pieper is a certified public accountant. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado.
Houston-based Stewart & Stevenson provides equipment, after-market parts and services to the international oil and gas, marine, construction, power generation, mining and other industries.
