On June 17, Spyglass Resources Corp. (TO: SGL.TO, OTC: SGLRF) detailed several executive appointments.
Tom Buchanan was appointed as chairman of the board of directors; Dan O’Byrne was appointed as CEO and a board director, while board chairman Randall Findlay was appointed as the board’s lead director.
O’Byrne will continue as president, the company said.
These appointments become effective July 1, Spyglass added.
"It has been an honor to have led Spyglass, and I would like to thank the board for their confidence in appointing me chairman. I would like to congratulate Dan in his new role and on his appointment to the board,” Buchanan said.
“Having worked with Dan for many years, I am confident that he demonstrates the leadership and vision necessary to execute on our strategic plan. On behalf of the board, I would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Randy Findlay for his valued leadership as chairman since the creation of Spyglass in March 2013," he added.
"I am excited about the opportunities and challenges presented by my new role at Spyglass. The executive team and I look forward to working with our stakeholders on the implementation of our strategic plan to improve the financial flexibility of Spyglass and enhance long term shareholder value," O’Byrne said.
