Description
Stroud Petroleum Inc. reported a Roxie Field-Lower Tuscaloosa discovery in Franklin County, Miss. The #1 Graves USA 25-12 was tested flowing 41 bbl of 38.5-degree-gravity crude per day from perforations at 10,700-05 ft. It was drilled to 10,850 ft and is in Section 25-6n-2e. Gauged on a 6/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,000 psi. Shreveport, La.-based Stroud has completed several Lower Tuscaloosa oil wells in the reservoir since 2013, with the most recent venture, #3 Homochitto 25-3, flowing 70 bbl of 40-degree-grav-ity oil and 1 bbl of water per from Lower Tuscaloosa.
