Propell strengthened its portfolio with the acquisition of Texas-based oilfield equipment manufacturer Total E&S Inc., doing business as Total Equipment and Services (T.E.A.S.), the company said March 1.
The T.E.A.S. acquisition from C&J Energy Services Inc. includes coil tubing and well stimulation equipment designs and other IP, facilities, property and inventory. The value of the transaction wasn't disclosed.
T.E.A.S. equipment will undergo an engineering review and rebranding under the Propell name.
Propell said it has provided employment opportunities to current T.E.A.S. employees and will maintain current equipment manufacturing and equipment renewal operations at its headquarters in Granbury, Texas.
"By combining the assets of two strong companies, we now have a complete product portfolio under one aligned brand," James Easden, Propell president, said in a statement.
Propell has three locations, with equipment in operation across the U.S. and Canada, including more than 70 rapidly deployed bulk proppant handling systems, the release said.
