Description
Staghorn Petroleum LLC completed an Anadarko Basin horizontal well targeting bypassed reserves in Lower Mississippian Osage in Kingfisher County, Okla. The #1H Whitetail 18-06-01 is in Section 1-18n-6w. It was tested in an open-hole zone at 7,450-12,047 ft producing 649 bbl of 41-degree-gravity oil, 398 Mcf of gas and 4.364 Mbbl of water per day following acidizing and fracturing. Gauged on a 64/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 200 psi on a 64/64-in. choke. It was drilled to 12,047 ft, 7,164 ft true vertical and bottomed to the north. Staghorn’s headquarters are in Tulsa.
