Houston-based JV Industrial Cos., which is backed by private-equity firm The Stephens Group LLC, has completed its acquisition of substantially all the assets of Gonzales, La.-based Priority Catalyst Services LLC for an undisclosed price.
Priority Catalyst provides services such entry into vessels under nitrogen purge in full supplied air equipment to change out spent catalyst, repair trays and supports followed by the loading of new catalyst. JV Industrial will add these assets to its midstream and downstream service offerings.
The new entity creates a specialty division under JVIC named JV Industrial Catalyst.
JVIC co-founder Joe Vardell says, “For the past year, they have been working for clients JVIC does not work for, which now gives us the chance to expand our service offerings to these clients. We, in turn, have opportunities to provide these new specialty services to our current clients, making this a perfect growth opportunity in both directions.”
