Attorneys from law firm Jost & Shelton Energy Group PC are joining the Denver office of law firm Burleson LLP, Adam Veltri, managing partner at Burleson, said March 25.
Jamie Jost and Adam Shelton, along with Tom Rubane, Joe Evers and Zach Sears, will join the firm “in a strategic move that significantly strengthens our regulatory practice in the Rocky Mountain region,” Veltri added. The attorneys’ team will also join, he said.
Jost is the acting general counsel for the Colorado Oil & Gas Association, representing over 300 industry members on legislative, regulatory and community issues.
Shelton handles federal, tribal, state and fee land title and curative matters. He also handles A&D and due diligence.
Rubane has almost 10 years’ experience as a title lawyer.
Evers and Sears handle regulatory and land use permitting matters.
Jost & Shelton Energy Group PC is based in Denver.
Burleson LLP is based in Houston.
