On Sept. 15, Jonah Energy LLC said that David Honeyfield joined as its vice president and CFO, and that C. Mark Brannum joined as its vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
Most recently, Honeyfield had been president and CFO of Intrepid Potash Inc. He had also been executive vice president and CFO at SM Energy Co. (St. Mary Land & Exploration Co.) and worked at Cimarex Energy Co. (NYSE: XEC) and Arthur Andersen LLP’s Denver office, Jonah Energy said.
Brannum was vice president and general counsel of Magellan Petroleum Corp. (NASDAQ: MPET) He also was SM Energy’s (NYSE: SM) deputy general counsel, the company said.
Jonah Energy’s CEO, Tom Hart, said the company expects about 200 people on staff by year-end.
San Antonio-based Jonah Energy LLC operates in the Jonah Field in Sublette County, Wyo.
