Drilling Activity Summary

Description

In Garvin County, Okla., Continental Resources Inc. completed a horizontal Mississippian Sycamore discovery in Section 29-1n-1w. The #1-30-29XH Warren flowed 364 bbl of 41-degree-gravity oil, 540 Mcf of gas and 1.935 Mbbl of water per day during initial tests of a fractured interval at 12,067-17,025 ft. The shut-in tubing pressure was 2,000 psi, and the flowing tubing pressure was 203 psi when tested on a 64/64-in. choke. It was drilled to 17,205 ft to the south into Section 30 then eastward a little more than one mile and bottomed in Section 29-1n-1w with a true vertical depth of 11,985 ft. Offsetting the discovery to the southwest is Continental’s #1-19H Burch discovery, a single-section horizontal well tapping Underthrusted Woodford The venture was completed in 2014 on gas lift producing 216 bbl of 42-degree-gravity oil, 1.68 MMcf of gas and 227 bbl of water per day following acidizing and fracturing at 12,243-17,106 ft.
