Description
A Helis Oil & Gas Co. well, #15-18H Moberg, was completed in Section 18-149n-95w of McKenzie County, N.D., in late 2012. The well initially flowed 2,186 bbl. of oil, 3.23 million cu. ft. of gas and 1,758 bbl. of water per day. Production is from a one-section lateral in Three Forks extending from 11,347 ft. northward to 15,313 ft. at a bottomhole location in the same section. It was tested following a 27-stage fracturing. Flowing casing pressure was 2,650 psi on an unreported choke size. The well is now operated by QEP Resources Inc. The December output averaged about 346 bbl. of oil, 296,451 cu. ft. of gas and 35 bbl. of water daily. Helis is based in New Orleans.
