Light Sweet Crude's Potential Long-Term Impact

Harold Hamm, chairman and CEO of Continental Resources Inc., said at least a dozen studies over the past few years by government bodies and other institutions have all basically concluded that if light sweet crude is produced in quantity in the U.S., the Brent world price will be lowered, and benefits to the consumer will be seen in a stabilized consumer market and lower gasoline prices.
