Superior Energy Services Inc., Harvey, La., (NYSE: SPN) has acquired Duffy & McGovern Accommodations Services Ltd., Aberdeen, Scotland, for $47 million in cash. Duffy & McGovern provides offshore accommodation rentals with major operations in Europe, Africa, the Americas and southeastern Asia. It has approximately 260 buildings for charter or sale including offshore cabins. The acquisition complements Superior's subsidiary HB Rentals that offers accommodations and accessories to companies in Oklahoma, Texas, the Rockies, Gulf of Mexico and Trinidad.
