Omni Energy Services Corp., Carenco, La., (Nasdaq: OMNI) plans to acquire certain assets of Houston-based Cypress Consulting Services Inc. dba Cypress Energy for approximately $7.1 million in cash and $3 million in a three year, 5% promissory note in deal valued at $10.1 million. Cypress provides seismic drilling services and contract crews. The acquisition includes the assumption of approximately $20 million of seismic drilling contracts.
