A Canadian subsidiary of National Oilwell Varco Inc., Houston, (NYSE: NOV) has acquired NQL Energy Services Inc., Calgary, (Toronto: NQL) for C$7.60 per share in a deal valued at approximately C$345 million. NQL Energy Services provides downhole tools, technology and services in the worldwide oil, gas and utility industries.
