Vintage Petroleum Inc., Tulsa, Okla., plans to sell the Ecuador interests of subsidiary Vintage Oil Ecuador SA to an independent for $141.7 million. Seven Seas Petroleum Inc., Houston, is selling its interest in the shallow Guaduas oil field, inclusive of the 40-mile Guaduas-La Dorada pipeline, to Sociedad Internacional Petrolera SA (Sipetrol) for $20 million. The assets include a 57.7% participating interest and related assets of Seven Seas Petroleum Colombia Inc., GHK Co. Colombia and Petrolinson SA in the Guaduas Field. Sipetrol is a 32.9% owner of the field. Petro-Canada, Calgary, acquired a 50% stake in the La Ceiba Block in western Venezuela.
