Hercules Offshore Inc., Houston, (Nasdaq: HERO) has completed the acquisition of a fleet of eight liftboats from Danos & Curole Marine Contractors LLC for $44 million. Three of the liftboats are located the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, four are operating in Nigeria and one was damaged during Hurricane Katrina and is being evaluated.
