The drilling and formation evaluation division of the energy services group of Halliburton, Houston, (NYSE: HAL) has closed its acquisition of Calgary-based Ultraline Services Corp., a division of Savanna Energy Services Corp., Calgary, (Toronto: SVY) for US$177 million (C$208 million). Ultraline provides wireline services in Canada, including cased-hole wireline and production logging.
