EV Energy Partners LP, Houston, (Nasdaq: EVEP) plans to acquire gas properties in Michigan from certain institutional partnerships managed by Houston-based EnerVest Management Partners Ltd. for $71.6 million. The assets include 341 producing wells in Otsego and Montmorency counties. Net production is 6.9 million cubic feet of gas per day, with proved reserves of approximately 56 billion cubic feet (89% proved-developed producing). EV Energy Partners will be operator.
