Esprit Energy Trust, Calgary, (Toronto: EEE.UN) plans to acquire privately held Trifecta Resources Inc., Calgary, for a deal value of C$102 million. The assets include approximately 30,000 gross acres (22,200 net) of undeveloped land mainly in the Garrington and Mikwan areas in southern Alberta adjacent to Esprit's existing key operating area in and around Olds, and bring the trust's total undeveloped land position to approximately 300,000 net acres.
