Basic Energy Services Inc., Midland, Texas, (NYSE: BAS) plans to acquire Texas-based JetStar Consolidated Holdings Inc. for approximately $120 million in cash and stock. JetStar provides pressure pumping equipment in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, and Basic will combine the JetStar operations with its own pressure pumping assets.
