ATP Oil & Gas Corp., Houston, (Nasdaq: ATPG) has acquired substantially all of the oil and gas properties of a privately held company for $40 million. The properties are on the Gulf of Mexico Shelf. Net production from the acquired properties is 25 million cubic feet of gas equivalent per day and ATP has agreed not to disclose the total reserves associated with the transaction. ATP will be the operator of most of the acquired blocks.
