Houston-based W&T Offshore Inc. has brought online another well in Ewing Bank Block 910. According to the company, it completed two separate zones at #8-A OCS G13081. The well penetrated 150 ft of pay in two sands. According to W&T, the well has a gross initial production rate from the lower sand of approximately 3.5 Mboe/d, and a second zone, which was the primary and larger original target zone, will be brought online in late 2016 as the lower zone depletes. The discovery was drilled from the company's A platform and bottomed to the south in Block 954. It was drilled to an estimated total depth of 21,000 ft, and area water depth is 560 ft.
