Energy XXI (Nasdaq:EXXI) has announced the death of Paul Davison. Mr. Davison passed away at the age of 61.
Mr. Davison served as one of EXXI's independent non-executive directors since May 2007, and he was as a member of
the Audit and Remuneration Committees.
"We offer our deepest condolences to his wife Anne, and the entire family," said John Schiller, Energy XXI's chairman of the board. "Paul brought a wealth of experience in both operational and general management to the company. He was not only a member of our Board, but a friend and colleague. He will be truly missed by all of us at Energy XXI."
