Canada’s Encana Corp. (NYSE: ECA) said July 29 that it completed the sales of its Gordondale and Denver-Julesberg (D-J) Basin assets.
The sale of the Gordondale assets in northwestern Alberta to Birchcliff Energy Ltd. was completed, and the transaction’s effective date is Jan. 1.
Wholly owned subsidiary Encana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. completed the sale of its D-J Basin assets in Colorado to Crestone Peak Resources. The sale’s effective date is April 1, 2015.
