ENR Partners LP, the first private-equity fund of Edge Natural Resources LLC, had its final close with $445.7 million in total commitments, the small-cap private-equity firm said Aug. 26. The fund will make investments in the North American oil and gas sector.
"With the fundraising completed, we are now actively pursuing opportunities to partner with best-in-class management teams and deploy capital at attractive risk-adjusted rates of return," said Oscar Pate, a partner at Edge.
Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP provided fund formation counsel. Edge did not engage a placement agent.
Edge Natural Resources LLC is based in Dallas.
