Jordan Blum

Jordan Blum joined Hart Energy as Editorial Director in 2022.

Blum is leading the digital-first news strategy, Oil and Gas Investor magazine, newsletters, video and digital content, and Editorial oversight of Hart Energy's Conferences. Blum is a 20 year veteran journalist, covering global energy and political spectrums. 

Prior to Hart Energy, Blum was Senior Editor, Americas, S&P Global where he covered global commodities. He also served as Director, Americas Oil News at S&P Global, overseeing the editorial team. 

Prior to S&P, Blum was Senior Energy Reporter at the Houston Chronicle, covering the upstream oil and gas sector. Blum was also Senior Energy Reporter at the Houston Business Journal. Prior to HBJ, Blum was Washington Bureau Chief for The Advocate. 

Jordan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism at Texas Christian University.
