IHS Markit reported that Gunn Oil Co. completed a Cottle County (RRC Dist. 8A), Texas, Canyon oil well in Stescott Field. The #2 Richards was tested pumping 75 bbl of oil and 25 bbl of water per day, with no gas, from perforations at 4,556-69 ft. It was drilled to 4,680 ft and is on a 320-acre lease in Section 1, ET RR Co Survey, A-107. To the west, the Wichita Falls, Texas-based company has permitted #3 Richards to 7,000 ft.
