Chris Bath resigned as the CFO and company secretary, effective immediately, Oilex Ltd. said May 24.
Cathal Smith became interim company secretary, effective immediately; he has been legal counsel and commercial manager for the last three years while he has been retained by the company, Oilex said. Smith has already served as interim secretary during this retainer period.
A permanent replacement for Bath will be appointed; until that time, the financial controller and the finance and commercial team will continue managing commercial and administrative functions.
Oilex Ltd., which operates in the Indian Ocean, is based in Australia.
