AltaGas Ltd. (Toronto: ALA) announced that it has agreed to issue $350 million of senior unsecured medium-term notes. The notes carry a coupon rate of 3.72% and mature on Sept. 28, 2021.
The net proceeds resulting from the issuance of the notes will be used by AltaGas to reduce bank indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.
The offering is being made through a syndicate of investment dealers co-led by TD Securities Inc. and National Bank Financial Inc.
