Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Another directional wildcat has been slated by Corpus Christi, Texas-based BNP Petroleum Corp. on its Lemon prospect in state waters offshore Kenedy County (RRC 4), Texas. The #1 State Tract 1008-S is in Nicholas Balli Survey, A-4. Projected to a total depth of 11,700 ft., it targets Heterostegina and will bottom beneath North Padre Island Block 1008. From the same surface location, the proposed 11,700-ft. #2 State Tract 1008-S was staked in October 2007. According to IHS Inc., #1 and #2 are slated to share a proposed bottomhole location, but will not produce concurrently. Nearest recovery is on Block 1009 in Murdock Pass East Field, more than 1.5 miles southeast.
