Williams Cos. Inc. (NYSE: WMB) priced a public offering of 65 million common shares at $29 each, the company said Jan. 9
Net proceeds will be used to purchase newly issued common units representing limited partner interests in Williams Partners LP. The net proceeds will total about $1.88 billion.
Underwriters received a 30-day option to purchase 9.75 million additional shares, and the offering is scheduled to close on Jan. 13.
Morgan Stanley is the book-running manager.
