Square Mile Energy, based in Houston, completed a Wilcox gas well in Paul Field, a northern Colorado County (RRC Dist. 3), Texas, reservoir extended by the company in 2017. The #2 Furry is producing 3.098 MMcf of gas and 441 bbl of 46.2-degree-gravity crude per day from perforations in Midway (Wilcox) at 13,652-13,714 ft. It was directionally drilled to 13,923 ft and the true vertical depth is 13,713 ft. The offsetting #1 Furry was tested in 2017 flowing 1 MMcf of gas and 115 bbl of 47.4-degree-gravity crude per day from Midway at 13,511-31 ft. The wells are on a 137.1-acre upper Texas Coast lease in Rossom Alley Survey, A-1.
