Kyle Ramachandran, president and CFO of Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure Inc., is today’s Forty Under 40 featured honoree.

Kyle helped found Solaris when he was 29 years old and then took the Houston-based company public just three years later with a $121 million IPO on the New York Stock Exchange.

Throughout those five years, Solaris has become a leading provider of fit-for-purpose solutions to increase productivity and efficiency in the completion of oil and gas wells in the Lower 48.

“We started the business with a PowerPoint presentation and a financial model, raised a couple of rounds of capital, built a team with diverse skills and experiences and brought laser-focus on listening to our customers and creating innovative, value-added solutions,” Kyle said.

Kyle began his career in Citigroup’s M&A group before joining First Reserve Corp. and later the management team of Barra Energia, a First Reserve and Riverstone sponsored E&P vehicle-based in Rio de Janeiro.
