Description

A Continental Resources Inc. horizontal completion initially flowed 27.3 MMcf of gas, 834 bbl of condensate and 1.571 bbl of water per day. The Blaine County, Okla., well, #1-20-17XH Kevin FIU, is in Section 20-14n-12w. Production is from acidized, fractured perforations in undifferentiated Mississippian between 13,115 and 23,044 ft. It was drilled to the north to 23,188 ft with a true vertical depth of 12,596 ft and bottomed in Section 17-14n-12w.It was tested on a 34/64-in. choke between 13,115 and 23,044 ft. The bottom-hole offsets to the east the drillpad of another Continental extended-lateral Mississippian well that was completed in 2017 at #1-8-5XH Lorene, which flowed 30.1 MMcf of gas, 1.933 Mbbl of condensate from Meramec and Mississippi Solid.
