Description

Pioneer Natural Resources Co. has completed two horizontal Wolfcamp-Midland Basin wells in Texas. The #10H University 7-43 (Wolfcamp D) is in Andrews County (RRC Dist. 8). The venture had a 24-hour peak initial production rate of 3,605 bbl. of oil equivalent (74% oil). The 18,483-ft. well, 10,830 ft. true vertical, was completed with 31-stage hybrid fracture stimulation over the well's perforated lateral length of 7,382 ft. It is in Section 36, Block 7, University Lands Survey, and bottomed beneath Section 43. A Wolfcamp B well in Midland County (RRC Dist. 8), #1H E.T. O'Daniel, flowed 2,801 bbl. of oil equivalent per day (75% oil). The 18,702-ft. well was completed with 39-stage hybrid fracture stimulation over a perforated lateral length of 9,229 ft. The true vertical depth is 9,027 ft. This Midland Basin venture is in Section 1, Block 37, T2S, T&P RR Co Survey, A-1009. Pioneer's headquarters are in Irving, Texas.
