Description

Chesapeake Operating Inc., according to IHS Markit, has completed two horizontal Oswego Lime wells from a common pad in the Anadarko Basin. The Sooner Trend ventures are in Section 20-18n-6w in Kingfisher County, Okla. The #2H Curtis 29-18n-6w was tested on artificial lift producing 748 bbl of 42-degree-gravity oil, 507 Mcf of gas and 871 bbl of water per day from perforations at 7,176-11,882 ft after acidizing and fracturing. It was drilled to 12,044 ft and it bottomed to the south at a true vertical depth of 6,513 ft. The #3H Curtis 29-18-6 was drilled 30 ft south on the pad, with a parallel lateral extending to 11,749 ft, 6,534 ft true vertical. It produced 387 bbl of 39-degree-gravity oil with 353 Mcf of gas and 612 bbl of water per day after acidizing and fracturing at 7,033-11,574 ft. Chesapeake’s headquarters are in Oklahoma City.
