Description

Two horizontal Frio-Taft Field discoveries were reported in San Patricio County (RRC Dist. 4), Texas, by Frostwood Energy LLC. The #93H Mayo was tested pumping 487 bbl of 22.5-degree-gravity crude, 113 Mcf of gas and 2.986 Mbbl of water per day from an open-hole zone at 5,133-7,540 ft. The well was drilled to 7,540 ft, 3,973 ft true vertical, and is on a 478-acre South Texas lease in Manuel Ramon Survey, A-224. It bottomed to the northeast beneath Joseph Fessenden Survey, A-119. The #1H Flinn-Mayo pumped 268 bbl of 22.6-degree-gravity crude and 102 Mcf of gas per day from an open-hole zone at 4,532-5,950 ft. It was drilled to 6,930 ft, 4,000 ft true vertical, and is on an 800.8-acre lease in Reuben Ross Survey, A-227. It bottomed to the north in John H.W. Oltmann Survey, A-214.
