Description
In Louisiana’s Trout Creek Field, CTR Oil Inc. completed a Wilcox oil discovery. The LaSalle Parish completion, #1 Blount, pumped 45 bbl of 40-degree-gravity crude per day through perforations at 3,121-25 ft. It was drilled to 3,700 ft and is in Section 14-8n-2e. A 2016 producer by CTR in the field, #1 Placid Fee, was tested flowing 75 bbl of crude per day from Wilcox at 3,340-50 ft. Through May 2017, allocated recovery from the 3,700-ft well is 20.422 Mbbl of oil. CTR’s headquarters are in Jonesville, La.
