Purchase of 50% interest in 1,717-mile Express Platte Pipeline System.

Spectra Energy Partners has purchased a 50% interest in the 1,717-mile Express-Platte Pipeline System that runs from Alberta, Canada to Wood River, Illinois. The Express pipeline has a capacity of 280,000 bpd, and the Platte pipeline has a capacity ranging from 145,000 bpd to 164,000 bpd.
