Description
A Smackover oil completion was announced by Fletcher Petroleum Co. in southeastern edge of Brooklyn Field. The Conecuh County, Ala., venture, #1 Pate 11-2, flowed 377 bbl of 46.7-degree-gravity crude and 196 Mcf of gas from perforations at 11,757-72 ft. It was directionally drilled to 12,001 ft and is in Section 11-3n-13e. Sklar Exploration Co. has also been active in the field and the company’s most recent completion in nearby Section 2 is #1 Cedar Creek Land & Timber 2-15. The well was tested in early 2018 pumping 60 bbl of 47.3-degree-gravity crude, 52 Mcf of gas and 10 bbl of water per day through perforations at 11,708-18 ft. The directional well was drilled to 12,075 ft. Also in Section 2 are Fletcher’s #1 Pate 2-12 and #2-5 Findley. Fletcher’s headquarters are in Fairhope, Ala.
