Description
IHS Markit reported that Rockcliff Energy has added two Lea County, N.M., completions to its horizontal San Andres program on the Northwestern Shelf of New Mexico’s Permian Basin. The #001H Everest 2 State flowed 65 bbl of 27-degree-gravity oil, 36 Mcf of gas and 2.634 Mbbl of water from acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations at 4,725-9,276 ft. The horizontal well was drilled to 9,420 ft out of a 4,900-ft pilot hole in Section 2-9s-34e. The lateral bottomed within one mile to the south and the true vertical depth is 4,762 ft. About 3 miles to the northwest, the Houston-based company recently completed the first horizontal well in Roosevelt County’s Milnesand West Field. The #1H Annapurna 20 flowed 310 bbl of 29.6-degree-gravity oil, 301 Mcf of gas and 3.53 Mbbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-treated San Andres perforations at 4,865-9,375 ft. It was drilled to 9,540 ft and the true vertical depth was 4,587 ft.
