Rex Energy Corp. (REXX) offered to exchange $325 million, in aggregate principal amount, of senior notes, the company said May 7.
The 6.250% notes are due 2022. They will be exchanged for $325 million, in aggregate principal amount, of Rex’s outstanding 6.250% notes due 2022that were issued in a private placement, the company said.
The exchange will fulfill registration obligations for the private placement notes. A registration statement was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The offer is scheduled to close June 8.
State College, Pa.-based Rex Energy Corp. operates in the Appalachian and Illinois basins.
