Description

Aethon Energy Operating LLC has completed two directional Wind River Basin delineation tests from a common drillpad in Section 36-37n-91w in Fremont County, Wyo. The #36-21 PKU (Powder Keg Unit) flowed 2.748 MMcf of gas and 5.234 Mbbl of water per day from Lower Fort Union (7,210-9,513 ft) and Lance (9,554-11,635 ft) after 19-stage fracturing with a flowing casing pressure of 1,087 psi. It was directionally drilled northeastward to 11,802 ft, 11,689 ft true vertical. The #36-11 PKU flowed 7.354 MMcf of gas and 3.11 Mbbl of water per day from Lower Fort Union (7,338-9,371 ft) and Lance (9,393-11,015 ft). It was tested on a 24/64-in. choke after a 16-stage fracturing and the flowing casing pressure was 2,115 psi. The well was directionally drilled northwestward to 11,167 ft, 11,085 ft true vertical.
