Description
Anadarko Petroleum Corp. completed a Reeves County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, Wolfcamp well. The #1H Mesquite Unit 2-2 was tested flowing 2.526 Mbbl of 47.1-degree-gravity oil, 7.25 MMcf of gas and 9.764 Mbbl of water per day. The venture is producing from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 11,062-21,402 ft. The Houston-based company tested it on a 48/64-in. choke with a flowing casing pressure of 2,516 psi. Located in Section 2, Block 2, H&GN RR Co Survey, A-1274, it was drilled to 21,558 ft and the true vertical depth is 10,977 ft. The Phantom Field well bottomed about two miles to the northeast.
