Continental Resources Inc., based in Oklahoma City, completed a Meramec well that is producing 25 MMcf of gas with 1.323 Mbbl of water and no reported condensate per day. The Stack play well, #1-17-8XH Mol, is in Section 17-12n-13w of Caddo County, Okla. The horizontal exploratory test was drilled to the north across two sections to 25,812 ft, with a true vertical depth of 15,499 ft. Production is from a acidized and fracture-stimulated zone at 16,144-25,613 ft. Tested on a 23/64-in. choke, the shut-in tubing pressure was 11,050 psi and the flowing tubing pressure was 10,175 psi. The well bottomed in Section 8-12n-13w.
